Our summer camp staff consists mainly of our teachers
Ages: 18 months – 6 years
Summer Camp: July – August
At Headon Forest Montessori’s Summer Camp our focus is on fun and learning. We provide an environment which facilitates natural learning while still having lots of fun.
The children are encouraged to participate in Daily Arts & Crafts, Dance, Music, and Science, as well as weekly themes and activities.
Our fee for summer camp: $250 a week or $50 per day
Timing : 8.30 a.m.-4.30 p.m.
Before and after care: Morning: 7.00 a.m.- 8.30 a.m. ($5 for every 30 minutes extra)
Evening: 4.30 p.m. – 5.30 p.m ($5 for every 30 minutes extra)
If you need before and after care every day that your child is enrolled you can choose to pay a flat fee of $150 for
In case of Siblings, Before and After Care is charged for one sibling only.

What You Need to Know Before the First Day of Camp….
Please note that we are a NUT FREE environment. We will provide lunch and snacks.
Every child needs the following items every day:
- Change of clothing
- Sun screen. Please ensure that your child has sunscreen on in the morning upon arrival at camp.
- Sun Hat
- Diapers and wipes for toddlers
- Water Bottles
- Colouring book and pencils for pre- schoolers
Please make sure all items are clearly labelled!
Summer Camp 2018 (All art and crafts materials provided by the Camp)
You can register for the camp by post dated cheques for the days booked.
Once booked there are no refunds.

Week 1: July 3rd-July 6th: Celebrating Canada: Learning about Canadian sports, food, flowers and celebrations through art and crafts
Week 2: July 9th- July 13th: Munsch Week: Canada’s favourite children’s writer, fun reading and creating a Munsch character craft each day.
Week 3: July 16th-July 20th: Chef’s Hat: Each day will be a new recipe and a fun snack to enjoy!
Week 4: July 23rd-July 27th: Art Attack: Using different mediums, children learn and create their own master piece!
Week 5: July 30th- August 3rd:Nature Week: Making nature crafts with materials from our outdoor environment.
Week 6: (we are closed for Civic Holiday on August 6th) Aug 7th- Aug 10th: Science Week:Experiments and discoveries throughout the week.
Week 7: August 13th-August 17th: Ocean Life: Children will learn about marine life, make ocean crafts and create their own aquarium.
Week 8: August 20th-August 24th: Craft Week: making fun summer inspired crafts
Week 9: August 27th-August 29th (last day of camp): FUN–WEEK: Spa day, movie day, Picnic fun: August 29th is the last day of camp!
